What I am examining

I keep this for the day as a time horizon: entries, exits, and what a short holding period still has to specify. The book's claims are the book's.

A short clock is not a strategy.

I have written about this question in Why I Prefer Hedged Option-Selling Strategies Over Unhedged Directional Bets. Those notes are mine. They are not a review of the book.

My note

What I keep is the day as a holding period. A position opened and closed in the same session still needs an entry, an exit, and a loss that has been specified. I use the book to separate a clock from a strategy. I do not take a rule from it, and a short holding period does not, by itself, describe the risk.

Bibliographic note

Vision Books publishes How to Make Money in Intraday Trading as a first edition, 2018, ISBN 9789386268150. The jacket and the publisher's record name Ashwani Gujral and Rachana A. Vaidya. I had recorded Ashwani Gujral alone. The co-author is part of the published book and still needs my confirmation that this is the copy I read. The Amazon link is that Vision Books paperback.
